Disney delays the premiere of his films The Woman In the Window and Cruella

Disney announced the postponement of the premiere of two of the films it plans to bring to theaters in the near future. The first is The Woman In the Window, a thriller headed by Amy Adams and directed by Joe Wright, which was originally produced by Fox, and the second is neither more nor less than Cruella, a prequel to 101 Dalmatians, with Emma Stone as the main figure.

The film starring Adams was scheduled to premiere on October 4 of this year, but will eventually hit theaters on May 15, 2020.

As it transpired, The Woman In the Window has to shoot some more scenes, demanded by the producer, and that takes away the possibility of competing in the Oscar race.

In addition to Adams, Julianne Moore and Gary Oldman stand out in the cast. The film is based on the homonymous novel by A.J. Finn and tells the story of an agoraphobic woman who lives alone in New York and begins to spy on her neighbors, the Russells.

In turn, the version of Cruella de Vil that will play Emma Stone also delays its premiere. The 101 Dalmatian prequel was scheduled to arrive in the halls at Christmas 2020, but the date has been changed until Memorial Day, Monday, May 31, 2021.
